I’m Dan Smith. This is usually where I give you some Hollywood-esque backstory, right?
Bad luck.
I wasn’t raised in the slums until a native Indian came to me in a dream and told me to build the world’s greatest mentoring programme for fitness coaches.
In fact, I was a firefighter for 11 years before becoming an online coach.
I don’t own a supercar.‍And I’ve never been to Dubai.
If that makes me a terrible mentor, I’m OK with that.
Because actually, despite breaking all the supposed guru status “rules,” I’m pretty bloody good at helping online coaches build a business that leaves them feeling fulfilled.
Plus, I feel like I kind of have a bit of an insider insight.
Because while building my own successful online business, I dealt with my fair share of mentors.
And all of them were about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
So when coaches saw I was growing my business without using spammy marketing tactics, plastering before-and-after pictures on my feed, or growth hacking, they started reaching out to me to help them earn more money, impact more lives, and build a rewarding business.
‍And I pledged never to follow in the footsteps of every other mentor.
‍To not put income over impact.
To not sacrifice integrity for vanity metrics such as likes and followers.
To not prioritise having 100+ clients over giving an incredible service.
And after helping 60+ coaches (and counting) ethically build an impactful online coaching business they’re proud of while earning £6,000-£9,000+ per month…
I think I’m doing a good job.
